SEO and AI search with evidence before promises

Build search visibility around useful content, crawlable pages, accurate business information, and measurable customer inquiries.

Diagnose the current site

Joe Design Group offers SEO and AI-search preparation for businesses in Indiana and remote clients. Start by mapping the services, content, crawl paths, and queries already bringing impressions. Preserve useful URLs and identify why a customer would choose each page.

Technical review includes status codes, crawl permissions, canonicals, sitemap entries, duplicate intent, structured data, and rendered content. An exclusion status alone does not identify a penalty or prove a quality problem. Keep the confirmed observations and the hypotheses in different parts of the report.

Content should make a buying decision easier

Publish a service explanation, comparison, or guide when it has a distinct job. Gather owner-approved processes, permitted evidence, and primary sources before drafting. A new heading and a city substitution do not make a separate page useful.

For each proposed URL, record the intent, original value, sources, parent page, relevant next step, and index decision. A page that overlaps existing material should be combined or revised before release. There is no benefit in reaching a page-count target with repetition.

What AI-search preparation includes

Clear entity information and source-supported pages also help people evaluating a business through answer engines. Google’s AI features guidance ties eligibility to Search requirements. A new text file or special wording does not establish a citation guarantee.

We can review current crawler policies, improve service explanations, correct supported schema, and define a repeatable observation sample. Platform answers vary, so a single mention should not be presented as a universal ranking. Read the small-business AI-search guide before choosing a scope.

Set a useful reporting baseline

Record the exact date range and filters. Group branded and non-branded queries where the data permits. Inspect desktop and mobile separately. Query rows may omit anonymized searches and page totals can differ from property totals; do not force them to reconcile by inventing rows.

Pair visibility with saved and qualified inquiries. A click count cannot establish revenue, and an alert delivery cannot establish a sale. Our lead measurement guide defines those boundaries.

A reviewable implementation scope

  • A prioritized audit with evidence and a status for each repair.
  • Updates to existing service and content pages that have a clear purpose.
  • An internal-link and redirect map when URLs are consolidated.
  • Metadata, sitemap, and structured-data validation.
  • A post-release measurement plan with remaining access limitations.

When SEO is not the first repair

If a contact form loses inquiries or a page misstates the offer, fix that before attracting more visitors. If the business lacks a defined service boundary or proof for its claims, gather those inputs before expanding content.

For location-driven demand, review our local SEO service. For a technical exclusion, begin with the indexing guide. Send your domain and the services you want qualified customers to find; we can scope the work from actual evidence.
